The Hollywood Reporter has a great cover story with Shonda Rhimes this week. Apparently she left ABC after a dispute with an executive over Disneyland tickets.
Yikes.
It’s a fascinating read. This (Black) woman has made that network billions of dollars. BILLIONS. Grey’s Anatomy is still their highest rated drama.
What a mess.
I’m going through a similar situation. My (White) clients have been acting up (more than usual) recently. So much so that I had to check them. It’s crazy how Black people get to a certain level of prestige and White people will still come at us sideways.
Sometimes you have to realize a situation’s not going to get any better and walk away.
